CIP (Clean-in-Place) − method of washing the internal surfaces of stainless pipes, milk tanks, pasteurizers, packaging and filling lines, without complete disassembly. Washing is carried out by pumping special cleaning solutions through all the equipment, finally washing with disinfecting solution, clean water, after which the sanitary solutions are returned back into the tanks. Each solution has its own tank and preparation system. In the process of washing the temperature of solutions is controlled. Depending on the equipment level of the CIP-washer, washing of technological lines is possible in manual, semi-automatic and automatic modes.
